Welcome - I'm Kayla Reynolds ("I", "me", "my"), and these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of my website and any booking, package, or service you purchase from me, including wedding content creation (photography and videography services). By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use my services.

1. About Me

I'm Kayla Reynolds, trading as The Wedding Edit in England and Wales, based in Worcester, UK. You can contact me at kayla@thecontentresidence.co.uk.

2. My Services

I provide wedding content creation services, including but not limited to iPhone-based photography and videography, captured in a documentary/unscripted style, as described in my package options and any bespoke packages agreed in writing.

Exact inclusions, duration of coverage, and any add-ons (e.g. second shooter, drone footage, guest book videos) will be confirmed in your individual booking agreement or contract, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Bookings, Deposits & Payment

3.1. A booking is only confirmed once I've received a signed contract and non-refundable booking deposit.

3.2. The remaining balance is due before your wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3. If payment is not received by the due date, I reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you, in accordance with my cancellation terms below.

3.4. Prices are correct at the time of booking. Prices for future bookings may change, but the price agreed at the point of booking will be honoured.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

4.1. By you: If you need to cancel, please notify me in writing as soon as possible. The booking deposit is non-refundable. Depending on how close to the wedding date the cancellation occurs, some or all of the remaining balance may also be non-refundable, as set out in your booking contract.

4.2. Rescheduling: If your wedding date changes, I'll do my best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and may incur an admin fee of [amount].

4.3. By me: In the rare event I'm unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, I'll make every reasonable effort to arrange a suitably skilled replacement photographer/videographer at no extra cost to you. If no replacement can be found, I'll refund all monies paid for services not delivered. My liability is limited to a refund of fees paid; I'm not liable for any other loss or damage arising from non-attendance in these circumstances.

4.4. Force majeure: Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g. extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, travel disruption).

5. Delivery of Content

5.1. Sneak peeks or highlight content are typically shared within 24–72 hours of your wedding, where possible. This is a guideline, not a guaranteed contractual deadline, and may vary depending on the complexity and volume of content, travel, or unforeseen circumstances.

5.2. Full galleries/edited content will be delivered within 1 week of your wedding date.

5.3. I recommend downloading and backing up your content promptly once delivered, as online galleries are only hosted for a limited period.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

6.1. I retain full copyright ownership of all photographs and video content I create ("the Content").

6.2. Upon full payment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use, print, share, and reproduce the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes (including social media).

6.3. I reserve the right to use the Content for my own promotional and marketing purposes, including my website, social media, portfolio, and marketing materials, unless you notify me in writing before your wedding date that you wish to opt out of this.

6.4. You may not sell, license, or use the Content for commercial purposes without my prior written consent.

6.5. Where guests or third parties are captured in the Content, I take reasonable care to document only what naturally unfolds at the event; by attending and being photographed/filmed at the wedding, guests acknowledge they may appear in Content used as set out in this clause. It is the couple's responsibility to inform guests of this if required.

7. Editing Style & Creative Discretion

I shoot and edit in a documentary, unscripted style, using my own creative judgement regarding shot selection, editing style, colour grading, and pacing. I don't offer unlimited revisions, but I will make reasonable amendments where content does not reflect the discussed style. Requests for a fundamentally different editing style to what was agreed at booking may incur additional charges.

8. Destination Weddings

8.1. For weddings outside of the UK, travel, accommodation, and associated costs will be agreed and quoted separately and are payable in addition to the package price.

8.2. You are responsible for ensuring any necessary permits, permissions, or venue approvals are in place to allow filming/photography at your destination venue.

9. Liability

9.1. While I take every care to capture and deliver your content, photography and videography carry inherent risk (e.g. equipment failure, memory card corruption, accidental loss). In the unlikely event that content is lost, corrupted, or unusable due to circumstances beyond my reasonable control, my liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected portion of the service.

9.2. I'm not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

9.3. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.

9.4. I carry insurance where applicable - details available on request.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking (as confirmed in your contract) will apply to that booking.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
